Lake Minden

Recently I took a walk around the RV park, where we’re staying, in search of wildlife to photograph. I can’t say this is the best place to take photos of wildlife, but it’s not bad. Even though Lake Minden sits along the Pacific Flyway and migratory birds are currently flying north for the summer, there were no migratory birds to be found. Take a look at what I did find.

Lake Minden.
A Muskrat in search of food.
A Night Heron keeping a watchful eye on me.
Stellar Jay.
A turtle coming up for air.
Redwing Blackbird! The most common bird in North America.
Redwing Blackbird.
It appears that R2D2 has found a new job as a well pump.
