In 1976, when I was a senior in high school, I took a wildlife management course. At that time, the Great Blue Heron was on the endangered species list. But today, they’re doing well. In fact, just about every place Barbara and I travel to, I see at least one of these magnificent creatures. This morning I saw three land just a few hundred feet in front of me.
