Yellowstone National Park (Day 2)

On day two we took a bus tour along the Madison River, the Midway Geyser Basin, the Upper Geyser Basin, which includes Old Faithful, along the west shore of Yellowstone Lake, and up to Artist Point in the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and the Lower Falls.

The colors you see here are bacteria growing in the hot water. These bacteria can only thrive in hot water.
