Last month, while attending a rally in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Barbara and I enjoyed a cruise on Lake Coeur d’Alene. I always enjoy this cruise. This time around, I spent most of the cruise on the front of the boat enjoying the wind in my face, the sound of the water splashing off the boat, and the beautiful scenery.
Most of the houses along the shore of the lake are only accessible by boat. In fact, the mail here is delivered by boat. So it goes without saying that you need to have a nice bank account in order to afford to live here. But it appears that the area is doing well because the Coeur d’Alene skyline is growing.
